Herman Miller Desk
This Desk, in the collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, consists of a chrome-plated metal frame with a "H-Leg" and footrest. The top is Masonite while the covering is orange vinyl. The front of the desk contains two drawers with black metal pulls. on the sinister side are red, blue, black, and yellow micarta panels. White silk satin gown with heavily beaded strapless bodice, belt, skirt, and petticoat. Scalloped neckline encrusted with pearls, blue rhinestones, silver tinsel. Bodice lined with cream silk georgette. Satin tie attached to skirt at waist. Garters attached to waist. Petticoat of white changeable taffetta with two wide bands of horse hair.
