Beaded Crepe Dinner Dress with Smocking at Center of Bodice, 1937
Black crepe dinner dress with a neckline accented with smocking in the center. The sides of the neck and back are accented with cut-out beaded desgins on black net. The added piece of white lace in the front is not original. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.

Herman Miller Chest
This Chest of Drawers, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a castano and sequoia burl veneered exterior surface across the front two doors. At the center is an inlay that forms three horizontal lines. The interior contains six drawers with brush chrome pulls. On the back is the inscription '3192/43'. Hat Pin, about 1935
This is an Art Deco plastic jewel; it is unclear what material it is made out of.It could be phenol formaldehyde, known generically as Bakelite.(Bakelite is the name given to objects made of phenol formaldehyde by Bakelite Corporation of Britain or the United States and, technically only to those pieces) It could also be celluloid (cellulose nitrate).In any event, it is an early twentieth century plastic.

Wool Dress With Net Collar, Bodice, and Sleeves, about 1940
Deep blue dress. Collar, sleeves, and top of bodice in blue cotton net. Body made of graduated rectangles of dark blue wool, pieced together on blue net; rectangles have blue net star in corners where they meet, formed by cut-out V's in corners of rectangles. Half-slip of blue silk faille. Skirt and slip have been shortened about 1/2 inch.

Sleeveless floor-length dress with matching long-sleeve jacket in coral silk crepe. V-shaped neckline in front and back; floating curved panels over bust; sewn tucks over midriff.
