Circa 1930s. Interior image of Librarians and students at circulation desk dated June 1936. Originally Central High School, Old Main is WSU’s place of origin and a now university icon. Malcomson and Higginbothan Architects, 1896, the stately Romanesque Revival composition is softened considerably by the buff-colored brick.
