Women's black leather sport shoes from the early twentieth century
Woman's black leather sport shoes. The low lace-up shoes have seven eyelets, a round toe, and a low heel. The sole is marked: Essex Shed-Wet. The tongue is marked in pen: B. Frederick, VZ, 6C. A similar pair is shown in the Ladies Home Journal, 1913. These shoes might have been worn with Women's Service Corps uniform .10.

Woman's beige wool coat with a wide shawl collar and cuffs of brown mouton fur. The coat has a single gray button at the waist, and two large darts in the back. It has a peach satin lining, with a design of bows stitched in grey silk. Belonged to Blanche Davidson, donor's aunt (Betty Conzelman). Label in back: Sax Kay Detroit.

Red gown with lace yoke from the early twentieth century
Womn's ruby red silk velvet gown with lace yoke. The dress is high waisted with elbow length sleeves, and has a "D'Haene, Detroit" label. For a tall, slim woman, dress has a 19" waist. Probably worn by donor's mother, Margaret McMillan ( daughter of Robert, of G&R McMillan). Mrs. Arthur David Holmes. He was a doctor, specializing in children. Married in Detroit, 1898. Margaret b. c. 1864. Daughters Margaret M. born c. 1899, Agnes May born c. 1900.
