Women's silver leather sandals from the 1930s
Woman's silver leather sandals with closed toe and heel, and open sides. The shoes have a strap buckle across the top. The leather is ridged and gives the effect of gathers across top of the front. Thick, 2 3/4" heel. Labels: Made exclusively for Metatarsal Footrest Shop, N.Y., and Foot Security, Supports the Metatarsal.

Inscribed on photo back: 4-cylinder, 30-horsepower, windshield, unusual top (homemade), motometer, trunk carried on platform at rear, dual spare tires carried at rear, the driver is identified as Lysle Fink a Packard used car salesman in an attached article.

Girl's Long Sleeve Print Dress, about 1840
White cotton dress roll-printed with with tiny red flower sprig pattern. Long bishop-style sleeves gauged at top. High waist with gathered skirt. Piped seams throughout. Appears to have been constructed from another garment: bodice pieced idiosyncratically, print oriented in different directions, and wear patterns inconsistent. Women's navy blue wool coat from the late 1930s to mid 1940s
Woman's navy blue wool coat in a below-the-knee length. The princess line coat is single breasted, and its front seams end in pleats on the breast and skirt. The long narrow sleeves are decorated with a large triangular panel of drawn thread work. The coat has a false collar of drawn thread, wide padded shoulders, and six large buttons with a faint wood grain. It is lined with navy taffeta. Label: Hattie Carnegie, Inc.
