Women's gray-green gabardine suit from the 1940s
Woman's gray-green gabardine suit having a long-sleeve collarless jacket with padded shoulders, and an inset yoke with diagonal button down tabs on either side. It has set-in front pockets with matching diagonal button-down flaps. The jacet ends past the hips and is lined with pale purple crepe. The straight skirt has a 1 3/8" waistband with a side zipper and hooks. The waistband measures approximately 26." Labels: Adrian in British Samek Material, and The J.L. Hudson Co., Detroit.

Woman's wine, navy blue, and white herringbone check suit. The straight skirt has a side ziper closing with a 5" split on the opposite side. It has an faced waist with a facing of wine crepe. The long sleeved jacket has a long-fitted line with shoulders that are heavily padded, and a concealed hook and twist closing in front. Woman's forest green, wool gabardine suit. The suit is single breasted and has an eight button front closing. The jacket is hip-length, and has padded shoulders, and long straight sleeves with turned-up button cuffs. Slash pockets are positioned at the hips. Lined, with side zipper, and a front placket. Women's navy blue wool coat from the late 1930s to mid 1940s
Woman's navy blue wool coat in a below-the-knee length. The princess line coat is single breasted, and its front seams end in pleats on the breast and skirt. The long narrow sleeves are decorated with a large triangular panel of drawn thread work. The coat has a false collar of drawn thread, wide padded shoulders, and six large buttons with a faint wood grain. It is lined with navy taffeta. Label: Hattie Carnegie, Inc.
