Asst. Prof. Mabel Lange Smith and Frank N. Isbey, chairman of the Michigan State savings Committee [sic], inspect part of an exhibit depicting the historical background for national defense and the various activities now going on in Detroit if furtherance of the program.
The exhibit was prepared as a series of dioramas by the summer art-education classes under Asst. Prof Smith's direction and later became a part of Wayne's exhibit at the Michigan State Fair.
