    Woman's beige silk shantung ensemble comprised of a sleeveless shift and coat. The shift has a jewel neckline, and ribbon-embroidered flowers in orange, yellow, rust and green. The front panel of the skirt is lined in crepe, and there is a back zipper closure. The double breasted coat has covered buttons, flap pockets and a wide collar. Worn by donor.     Woman's coat and dress evening ensemble of black and white floral print satin clocque. The floor length coat has a round neckline without a closing. The sleeves are pleated at the shoulder, then fall kimono-like to a three quarter length. The coat is seamed up the center back, and lined with acetate. The floor length dress has a fitted camisole bodice with spaghetti straps seed beads and dangling pendant beads. It zips down the back. The ensemble has a Ruth Joyce label.

    Woman's A-line dress is made of paper with a design depicting the telephone yellow pages. The collar has a bow at the center front, and the armholes are bound in black cloth tape. There are no fitting darts or fasteners. Worn by donor while pregnant with her first child, it was very comfortable. Label: Waste Basket Boutique, by Mars of Ashville, NC, Do Not Wash. This material is fire resistant unless washed or dry cleaned, then becomes dangerously flamable when dry.
