TOP ROOKIES---Wayne State's baseball team will be considerably stronger this year with the addition of these four sophomores. The Tartar rookies are (left to right) Bob Wright, a sharp lefthanded pitcher; Larry Thow, former American Legion batting champ who will hold down the right field berth; Larry Cook, a third baseman who may be the best of the bunch, and Joe Francis, a husky right handed pitcher.

Arab Student Association at Wayne State University have pinned their hope on this lawn decoration in order to win one of the trophies awarded by the Student-Faculty Council, Association of Women Students, Inter-Fraternity Council, Mackenzie Union and Pan Hellenic Council during the halftime show at the Tartar-Western reserve game on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 2 p.m.
