V-shaped neckline edged with self-piping with self-fabric bow at base. Cap sleeves and shoulder pads. Seam at waist with separate self-fabric sash and bow. The chemise shown in the photograph is not the original.

    Turquoise georgette party dress with neckline and cuffs of embroidered white georgette. Dress has embroidery of turquoise thread and white seed pearls. Matching jacket of turquoise taffeta. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.
