Embroidered Print Silk Chiffon Evening Dress, ca. 1937
Medium-blue floor-length silk chiffon dress with white spiral print. Some spirals embroidered with white beads and small iridescent sequins. V-shaped neckline edged with self-piping with self-fabric bow at base. Cap sleeves and shoulder pads. Seam at waist with separate self-fabric sash and bow. The chemise shown in the photograph is not the original.

Beaded Ice Blue Satin Wedding Gown with Scalloped Train, 1938
Ice blue satin wedding gown, which according to the designer, was "inspired by the simplicity of ancient Grecian art." The gown has beaded decoration at the waist in an acanthus leaf pattern and a four-and-a-half yard scalloped train. Frances Dodge, for whom the gown was made, also wore a veil of ice blue illusion bound with blue satin held in place with a tiara of illusion decorated with seed pearls. Black velvet dinner dress. Severity of the dress is offset with large cuffs of white wool yarn and rhinestones. A rhinestone clasp on the belt and shoulder accents of padded velvet add emphasis to the effect of simple elgance. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.

Satin Crepe Dinner Dress with Beaded and Embroidered Bodice, 1938
Black satin backed crepe dinner dress with a bodice of black chiffon embroidered in silk and beaded in jet beads. Emphasis is given to the back with bows of crepe creating a custle effect. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.
