Three-piece party dress consisting of slip, dress and cape. Gray georgette dress and cape. Dress has pink machine lace bodice. The break between the georgette and lace is edged in embroidered flowers of lavender, pink and green. Long sleeves have pointed and weighted elbows. Bodice has weighted folds forming a bateau neckline. The skirt has a two tiered ruffled hem. A cape of georgette edged with diamond gussets softly ties in the front. Gray crepe slip. Gray wool softly textured crepe day dress with top and sleeves of embroidered chiffon. Cuffs are of wool. Accented on teh left front at waist with a chiffon and wool bow. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.
