  • Herman Miller Corner table

    This Table, in the collection of the Newark Museum, consists of a square base with rounded corners which rests on four tapered legs. It is veneered in blond wood with yellow cast (birch?). There is an inset superstructure on two sides and enclosed corner with parabolic or boomerang form top. The end supports are tapered conical. The glass protective top is not numbered. Remnants of label on table seem to say #4183, but archives show it as #4283. This might show that it's a variation …

    This Table, in the collection of The Henry Ford, has an acacia burl veneer on the top and shelf while the vertical surfaces have a paldao veneer. The four legs are wrapped with leatherette and finished with brass tacks. The product number, '4129', can be found under the table top.
