    Woman's muted turquoise crepe evening gown having a straight undecorated skirt, fitted, dropped waist. The dress has a round, jewel neckline, cap sleeves (shoulder pads have been removed), and a bodice decorated with 1 1/2" x 3/4" beaded ovals in shades of pink, black, silver, and gold. Three lines of pink and silver beads edge the neck and sleeves. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.
