Worn by donor to a dinner at Fishmonger's Hall, London, given by the American Bar Association at which Sir Winston Churchill made his last public speech in 1957.

Three wide bands of bias horsehair to maintain circle skirt effect. White taffeta slip has fitted bodice and full circle skirt.
