Dear Cousins
I now take my pen in hand to write a few lines to you I was very glad to hear from you as Mother was writing to Aunt Mary Ann I thought that I would write to you Henry and Willis I go to school this summer I like to go very much I want to go every day I am well [for] I think that iwill get the prize of my class Elnore goes to she reads in the first reader Eva I would like to have you and Mary Catherine and Jane to go to school with me what fine times we would have write often I still remain your Cousin Lucy Maria [Ruys?] The transcription was provided for your convenience.
