This Eames Chaise, in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, consists of six cushions which connect to each other and to the frame with zippers. While most of the Chaise's produced are covered with leather this object is covered with black Polynit upholstery on the cushions. The frame is black nylon coated aluminum stretched over the frame as the supportive member for the cushions. [SOURCE: 1968 Herman Miller Inc.
