This Bedside Table, in the collection of the Newark Museum, is part of a suite and consists of a rectangular carcase with a bowed front and single drawer about a cupboard. The veneer is rosewood with a recessed base inlaid with vertical stripes of rosewood. There are also a circular concave mat brass pull on the drawer. This piece bears partial B. Altman Label.
