Inscribed on photo back: Model A, 1-cylinder, 9-horsepower, 71.5-inch wheelbase, 2-person roadster completed Nov. 6, 1899, in Warren Ohio. Body by Morgan & Williams. Car is either being crated at Packard Motor Car Co. for shipment to Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. or being uncrated at Lehigh for permanent display in the lobby of the James Ward Packard Laboratory of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
